They are now in dealer's hands. Gail's HD/Buell has them, they called me today. I will see it tomorrow and will compare to the Cee Bailey. |

How many inches above the flyscreen is the top? Where exactly does the windblast hit you? Is it possible it would work even better with the laminar lip? Does it adversely affect handling in a crosswind? Lorazepam- why don't you order one from Dave S? Parts work better if they come from Appelton, Wisconsin . |

Put mine on today..it is abut 5 inches taller than the stock and it has the little flip at the top. Looks just right, was pouring rain today, no test. |

We compared the Cee Bailey's +4 1/2 to the Buell Tall. The Buell tall is slightly wider about the same height. The Bailey has much more "flip" to the windshield. I have the Bailey + 2 1/2 and the 4 1/2 and after looking at the Buell Tall, I think the Bailey 2 1/2 and the Tall buell would do about the same. The Bailey's flip up (more curvature)I think will do about the same as the taller Buell. I am 6' 2" but long waisted not long legged. The 2 1/2 hits me right at the top of the shoulders. The 4 1/2 hits me in the shield. I envison using the 2 1/2 most of the time and using the 4 1/2 in the winter when I want no wind on my chest and shoulders at all. I believe there to be a little more noise in the 4 1/2 because of where the wind hits. |

Got a chance to test out my new extended windshield today. Buell really should make the +4 the standard windshield with the shorter shield as an option. It does a great job of taking the windblast off the torso. I didn't notice any significant increase in helmet noise or buffeting. I am 5'10 and running a corbin seat. I also wicked it up to 100 mph at my top secret high desert test facility and the windshield did not self eject and try to decapitate me. I am very impressed with the windshield and plan on using the shorty only for the hottest days of the year or when I peel the luggage off and dress her(him? ulysses) down. |
