Not only will your coolant freeze, but your valve adjustment interval will be halved, your rear wheel chain lube will be made useless, your catalytic converter will dissapear, both side mounted exhaust cans will vanish, and your bike will never again be able to rev above 7800 RPM! Quick, get it out of the garage and out in the mud where it belongs! (in all seriousness, all the fluids in your Uly will be perfectly fine. Lots of thermal cycles will get some moisture in your primary fluid, that could introduce some contamination, so at the end of the winter just change it. Fuel stabilizer is not a bad idea if you won't be riding the bike for several months, and bringing the battery inside might (or might not) make it last a little extra (though I never bother). ) |

A little late winter fishing huh? That said, the weather in the beautiful SF Bay Area has been in the 70's all week. Nanner nanner. fubar |

Don't forget it will put the throttle bodies out of synch and the gears in the rear hub will lose teeth too. Seriously, ain't air cooling neat? |

I used to be a big fan of liquid cooling because I believed it was better. Then a friend of mine asked me to explain why the old Porsche 911 used to win all those races. |

the sales guy did a double take when i asked him how often i needed to oil the belt. he recovered nicely when he said "just do it when you change the turn signal fluid". |

Grimace, do not worry. It's the new permanent glycol that Buell uses. You will never have to worry about it in that's bike's lifetime. But be sure to check the hub cap gaskets, they have been known to loosen during break in! |

Check the coolant level on the Ulysses cold. Also, check the chain and lube it as needed. You do not want rust forming. DAve |
