I received and installed it yesterday. 4 out of the six holes lined up ok but I ended up hogging out two holes by running my drill in reverse. Anyway, took the bike for a ride and the wind noise and head buffeting is just terrible. I'm about 6'1". The wind hitting my body is taken care of but I apparently will have to tilt the windshield forward to get the wind to go up and over my head better. Anyway, I don't know if the problem is the Euro cut but their claim that the Euro cut "offers a quiet zone around the head and shoulder area" isn't true with this windshield I just installed. To be honest with you guys, the Euro cut I supposedly got looks no different than the regular cut. I'm going to look at the service manual to see if the fairing assembly can be tipped forward. It is a good looking shield though. |

They charged me $10 for the Euro-cut and this is not the Euro-cut. We shall see how good their customer service is on Monday. |

I thought Euro-cut meant uncircumcised. |

I called Cee Bailey's today and it looks like they are going to go the extra mile for me. I had sent the above left picture to them by email. To make a long story short they are sending me out a 16" Euro-cut at no charge and when I receive it I am to ship back the 14". The guy said they would ship it within a couple of days. I sure hope it happens just like he said. He claimed they had already shipped 40 Euro-cuts but didn't clarify if he was talking ULY windshields. |

I think you're going to like the 16". I have a 16" reg cut, but am about 3" shorter than you. I have no head buffeting at all. Headwind is off the shoulders, maybe a little on the elbows. It's hard to tell when you are dressed for winter. I see you had a little trouble with the holes lining up, too. I had a rattle around 2400 rpm's, but played around with the rubber washers and I think it's gone. Looking forward to your review of the 16" product. |
