Finally got a chance to ride my Uly (was in a cast) with my new Drummer exhaust and new Corbin seat. I have had numerous Harleys with modified exhaust systems, and the Drummer is very much the same in sound and power improvement. The 50 or so miles I rode left me undecided about the seat. It did lower me a bit, which I needed, but damn that baby is stiff. My ride was all back roads, so I was in the saddle for a while. I never liked the stock seat much and hope that the Corbin gets better with some break in time. |

The corbin is much stiffer, but is seeming to break in with miles. It is also much easier to slide around on to shift weight in the twisties. I tend to spend most of my time snugged up against the tank, though, I guess because of years on hypersport bikes and trying to keep the front wheel on the ground. |

I have had Corbin seats on my last 4 bikes and am sold. They are hard but are *the most* comfortable on long rides. They do kinda break in, but I would not expect it to get soft. More like it molds to your butt. I will get my Uly in a couple weeks and am trying to keep an open mind about the seat, as it is so well reviewed (I am pretty tall). That failing, I am off to Hollister (again) to get a seat done. Good luck, fubar |
