The magnets are burried under the airbox, then under the tankbag (which I've carried my wallet in 1000s of times). I don't think they will effect anything. I just hope they hold the bag on. It's not quite as strong as when I had it on a metal tank. But it takes quite a tug to get it off. |

We don't need no stinking black! Ok, maybe on a Night Train or a Street Bob.

Where did you get the three way rocker switch for the heated grips and the DC outlet for the vest? I think I remember getting bad sticker shock on those once, is there an more reasonable source? Thanks, Jack |

I can just hear my wife now, "You're spending more time and money changing that darn new bike and you still haven't painted the garage walls! Why can't you just leave the stuff you get like it is? I can just imagine the changes you'd like to make to me." Buy the way, the bride and I are both convinced we want the black beauty (as is - nothing added or subtracted - sez she), but that yelrnge looks sweet. Steve Gear up! |

Got the lighted sign off eBay. It was pretty cheap, and looks good. Even the wife likes it. |

Tied a record high from the 1800's here yesterday. 69 degrees. Is the end of the world near or something? |

Maybe as we've known it. Between climate change and ridiculous wars you just never know though. |

Well, I'm not complaining. 30 degrees above normal is fine by me. Just hope it's not that way during the summer! I don't think I could take 120 degrees. LOL! |

Motorcycle web site or no, E-glider is a gungy old Recon Marine and has earned his right to express his opinion, as have all of us vets. BTW, Go Black! |

No doubt, the only time we hear from some folks is when someone mentions anything negative about our current administration or our current war. Oops... can I say that here? |

Hi guys (even you Slayer) Good weather for riding, Global warming or not. I was out yesterday for a few hours. Saw a bunch of other guys out. Since I got my bike in November, this is as warm as it's been....I'll have to learn to ride all over again when it gets warm. The BLACK bikes are hotter than orange. Must be something about all of the absorbed solar energy. |

"No doubt, the only time we hear from some folks is when someone mentions anything negative about our current administration or our current war. Oops... can I say that here?" Let's just say that some of us prefer voting, donating to political campaigns, and writing letters to our representatives in lieu of running the propaganda machine for our enemies. Freedom of speech is a responsibility as much as it is a right. To some of us, openly badmouthing the mission or the leader emboldens our enemies and is therefore dangerous for the troops. I learned that in the AF. The marines, sailors, and soldiers I fought with were taught the same. That said, orange Ulys are all defective. They are orange so that the factory could separate them from the good ones which are, of course, black (the official color of motorcycling). Hence, all the headshaking, fender rubbing, and oil mucking problems have been reported by the orange owners. |

Humph! Black the color of motorcycling huh? Call me crazy, but I'd rather be SEEN than blend into the shadows. Of course, all the guys riding the black bikes are so ugly they need to hide. LOL!! In all fairness, I didn't choose the orange color. Just got what I got. Beggars can't be choosers. |
