You want the amber wheels off my XB12S, and I want the wheels off your new Uly. Right? Lemme know! PM me if interested in a trade - I may be willing to add a little cash... |

Just a note of caution. The Uly wheels were beefed up to handled off road "bumps". If you put XB12S wheels on it, you'll loose that. Of course if you never ride it off road, it may not matter to you. |

Oh...didn't know that. Sorry. I haven't paid that much attention to the chatter about the Uly. I just love the color of the new wheels. If they are "beefed up" then they're probably heavier, too. I don't want that. Maybe I'll powdercoat mine... |

They are a pound heavier. I forget where I read that. I think its from the chat session Erik Buell did a few weeks ago. Thats archived around here somewhere. |

Sure, they are a pound heavier but they should be put on *every* streetbike, IMHO. If you've priced new wheels and seen all the potholes in the roads these days that extra strength is worth having. YMMV. Jim in Santa Barbara |

Rpmchris, there is a set of the "starlight" finished XB rims on Ebay. Don't know how close that is to what you are wanting, Thought I would toss that up there. |
